GUILIO ZANELLA

I am professor of economics at the University of Bologna, and I am currently the director of the two-year master in Economics and Public Policy. I was previously professor of economics and the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and assistant professor of economics at the University of Siena. I am primarily an empirical economist and my research interests are in labor economics, social economics, and applied econometrics. I obtained both my BA and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Siena, where I was exposed to a plurality of approaches to economics and teaching. I greatly appreciated this eclectic intellectual environment, which is of fundamental importance in helping students finding their own way.
