My name is Advait, and I work as a Research Associate at the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (CAFRAL) in Mumbai, India. Previously, I've worked for organizations like CORE Economics Education and Inclusion Economics India Centre. My interests lie in the intersection of macroeconomics, applied econometrics and development.

The MSc. Economics program at the University of Siena was crucial in shaping my current research interests. The systematic rigour of the core courses along with the wide variety of electives ensured a good mix of breadth and depth. The student body was diverse and friendly, and the faculty were supportive.  My positive experience at the University is evident from the fact that I continue to collaborate with my thesis advisor on research projects! Finally, spending two years in the heart of a University town located in the hills of Tuscany ensured that my stay was enjoyable and memorable.
