CHIARA CRISCUOLO
Since April 2024, I am Principal Economist in the Economic Policy Research unit of the International Finance Corporation. Until March 2024 I headed the Productivity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division in the Science Technology and Innovation at the OECD.
My work lies at the intersection of the fields of productivity, business dynamics, industrial and innovation policy and their evaluation and relies on the use of microdata across countries.
I am also a research associate at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics where I was a research fellow before joining the OECD. Before my MSc and PhD in Economics from University College London I studied Economics at the University of Siena, where I benefitted from high quality teaching across different fields of economics and statistics which gave me the solid basis needed for my postgraduate studies.
