DAVIDE CIPULLO
Davide Cipullo is an Assistant Professor of Public Economics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. He is also an affiliated fellow of the CESifo institute in Munich, the Uppsala Centre for Fiscal Studies, and the Interuniversity Research Centre for Local and Regional Finance (CIFREL). Davide’s research work has been recognized with a number of prestigious awards such as the SIEP Prize 2022 (awarded by the Italian Society of Public Economics); the Arnberg Prize 2023 (awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences); the Modigliani Research Grant 2024 (awarded by UniCredit foundation).
Davide graduated in 2016 at the University of Siena – benefitting from the opportunity offered by the master’s program in Economics of obtaining a double-degree with Uppsala University (Sweden). After the master program, Davide continued his studies in Uppsala where he completed his Ph.D. in 2021.
Davide was a visiting fellow of the Department of Economics at Harvard University during the academic year 2018/2019.
